How we operate

Our culture

Culture is how work leaves the building - not a wall of adjectives. We write scope before code, review on staging, and keep the record in the portal.

What clients feel

The habits that survive a deadline

Great technology still comes from people who can be named. We hire for craft and for the willingness to write things down: who owns the ticket, what "done" means, and where the live credentials live after handover.

Collaboration is not a stand-up theatre. It is a staging URL the client can open on a phone, a change that can be reversed, and a message thread that is still there when someone is on leave.

  • Statement of work and acceptance tests before build starts.
  • Staging is the first review. Production is not.
  • Access is documented. Passwords are hashed. Roles are limited.

Practices

Six rules we will not skip

If a project asks us to skip these, we would rather not take the work.

Written before built

A named owner, a scope, and tests. "We will figure it out" is not a delivery method.

Review on staging

Clients see a working environment. The first phone test is not on launch day.

Auditable aftercare

Tickets, files and appointments stay in the portal. Email still goes out. The trail is not only one inbox.

Named people

You know who is designing, who is building, and who answers when production is down.

Least privilege

Staff get the access the job needs. Shared "admin/admin" logins are not a culture we keep.

Handover that lasts

Credentials, CMS notes and next steps are written so the work survives a staff change.

Inside the studio

A calm week looks like this

Monday is for scope and blockers, not for inventing a new colour palette. Midweek is build and review. Friday is for staging notes and what will ship next.

Remote colleagues join the same portal and the same staging URLs. Time zones are handled with written updates, not with 2 a.m. heroics as a default.
